Tenzin Wangyel
Adrian Ma, of Teochew heritage and raised in Hong Kong, was given his Dharma name: Tenzin, “holder of the Dharma,” and Wangyel, “majestic presence.” True to the spirit of the Bodhisattva, he does not seek to escape the city’s noise, but to serve within it — not through words, but through the stillness offered in gentle, everyday gestures.
Originally trained in Western economics, Tenzin Wangyel continues his inner reformation as a confluence of three streams: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Feng Shui, and Eastern contemplative wisdom. His explorations — in tea and infusions, flowers and fragrance, space and time — are united by a quiet purpose: to help each person return not to something new, but to who they have always been.
Tenzin Wangyel seeks only to live the quiet life of compassion, while sharing that life, freely, with others.

Our candles are made from pure rice bran wax, a natural byproduct of Thai rice milling. This wax is clean-burning, gentle on indoor air, and entirely free of paraffin or petroleum derivatives.

Yes. Rice wax burns cleanly and evenly, producing minimal soot and no harsh smoke. It’s ideal for bedrooms, meditation rooms, and shared family spaces.

Each candle offers approximately 40 hours of burn time when used properly, with a natural cotton wick that provides a steady, centred flame.

We use only natural essential oils, never synthetic perfumes. Our Awakening Grains scent features:

  • Lemongrass – brightens the mood, clears the air
  • Lime – sharpens clarity, uplifts energy
  • Ginger – grounds the spirit, brings gentle warmth
